Vice President of Construction
A native of Midland, TX, Steve attended Midland High School and Midland College. Steve has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. Originally an Assistant Superintendent, Steve has had experience overseeing and working with every facet of the construction industry making him an vital member of the Guefen Development team.
Steve moved to Houston 9 years ago and has been a part of the Guefen team for over 8 years. In the past five years alone Steve has overseen the construction of over 3,000 residential units. He is responsible for managing building schedules to ensure on-time deliveries. As well as managing all Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, and Subcontractors to provide an accurate evaluation of their performance. Steve is also charged with visiting each job site at least twice per week to review all construction work in process. This ensures compliance with building plans and specifications, building codes, and Guefen Development company standards.
Jeffery’s duties as assistant project manager include coordinating and scheduling the construction, interior design, and maintenance of specific projects. Jeffery is also responsible for monitoring projects throughout their duration to ensure they are executed timely and meet Guefen standards.
A native Houstonian Jeffery graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration, specializing in both Business Administration and Business Management, from Texas State University in San Marcos. Jeff uses the principals and techniques he acquired to provide exceptional service, making him an invaluable member of the Guefen team.
Liliana obtained her Architectural degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas, Venezuela. She spent approximately two years working with Mendoza Davila Toledo Construction in a $30MM project (130,000 sq/ft) as one of the Project Managers on site. Later, she established her own company with other colleagues focusing on the construction of new projects and renovations. After five years, Liliana decided to move to the US with her family to look for new challenges.
Before moving to Houston a year ago, Liliana spent approximately five years in New York City working as an independent Interior Design Consultant while obtaining an AutoCad and Interior Design certificate from The School of Visual Arts.
Liliana joined the Guefen team 2015 as a Project Manager.
